Empowering optimal learning through futuristic instructional design strategies.
We apply David Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory where learning involves the acquisition of abstract concepts that can be applied flexibly in a range of situations. This model revolves around four components:
A new experience is encountered, or a reinterpretation of existing experience.
Reflective thinking is performed on the inconsistencies between experience and understanding.
Reflection gives rise to new ideas or modifications of existing abstract concepts.
Learner applies their ideas to the world around them to see what happens.
